Introduction
Semiconductors play a pivotal role in modern technology, with their electronic properties heavily influenced by the bandgap. The bandgap determines a material's ability to conduct electricity and is critical in designing electronic and optoelectronic devices. Understanding and visualizing the bandgap concept is essential for students and researchers in physics, materials science, and electronics.
This project focuses on developing a Virtual Lab (VLAB) Graphical User Interface (GUI) to simulate and analyze the bandgap of semiconductors. The GUI provides an interactive and user-friendly platform for learners to explore how various factors, such as temperature influence the bandgap. By integrating theoretical principles with practical simulations, the VLAB serves as a powerful tool to enhance conceptual understanding and experimental skills in semiconductor physics.
